Racing Kart Rentals

For our renter’s enjoyment – Action Karting presents a new fleet of more than 35 open-wheeled racing karts with 6.5 Honda engines that will propel you as fast as 55 mph around a .63 mile asphalt road race track with 17 corners. 

The next step up is a 125cc Leopard engine non-shifting go-kart that has speeds up to 70 – 75mph. To be eligible to step up to this speed, you must qualify on the 6.5 karts and have an average laptime of 56 seconds or less.  The leopard ride is $100 for a 10 lap session.  Leopard drivers must be 18 years or older.

Kids

8 to 12 year olds normally drive an 80cc go-kart that is scaled down to their size.

Go-kart is a 50cc – top speed is 18mph
Monday thru Thursday (unless it is a Holiday) we will work with the child on starts & stops, flag recognition & hand signals.  The parent and kid are on the track together in separate karts with no one else on the track.  Instead of the normal 10 lap session of $35 each, we charge $25 each.  After this learning experience, the normal price will be charged unless management determines the child needs more training.

We provide:

• A safety speech that includes the do’s and don’ts of driving, flag recognition and hand signals.
• Full set of racing gear that includes, racing suit, helmet, neck collar and gloves.
• A “report card” that states your laptimes for 8 of the 10 laps.

Some wearing apparel suggestions:

• Don’t wear sandals or any open toed or heeled shoes.
• Boots and chunky heels can be hard to drive with.
• Bulky clothing is sometimes difficult to squeeze under the racing suits.
• If you have a full-faced helmet or a helmet with chin guard and goggles, you are free to bring them with you. (Same goes for gloves and neck collars)
